About Us

We all share similar concerns about our aging loved ones.

We know there’s no place like home, a familiar place filled with the love of family and friends. Aging presents challenges for the entire family and we help them find solutions that bring peace of mind.

We value transparency, so you can see our caregivers, view caregiving in action, learn more about our caregiving team, see what people are saying about us, and we are reviewed by an independent third party for customer satisfaction.

We are there when you are unable to be.

Caring for a loved one presents a unique challenge, especially when the responsibility descends upon you suddenly. The complexity increases with the challenges of work, family and commitments or attempting to care for someone long distance. Being unaware of appropriate and available resources heightens this frustration.

The Denver community has entrusted us with the well-being of their loved ones and we take this very seriously. Our team is dedicated to providing quality care, providing a safety net of support. We believe that empowering seniors and their families with care and support improves their quality of life. We are committed to supporting the decision for seniors to remain in their home where they can maintain a healthy sense of independence and personal dignity. Together we approach each case as if the individual was a member of our own family.

Founded on the core values of compassion, respect, integrity and excellence; Extended Family Home Care is excited for the future with new ownership.

Extended Family Home Care was recently acquired by former employees of the agency, Brittney Blanchard and Erin Brix.

Brittney and Erin started working with Extended Family in 2009 as caregivers for several years before gaining additional experience in medicine and furthering their careers beyond home care.  They were eager to return to the agency in 2021 as owners and operators.

Collectively, Brittney and Erin have worked in non-medical and medical care for 24 years and are elated to bring their expertise, passion and love the for the Colorado senior community back to where they started.  Their favorite part of their job is having more time with all of their clients now as administrators.  We hope to continue being a resource to you and your family and our team looks forward to learning about you.

“Returning to Extended Family and furthering its legacy is truly a dream come true!” – Brittney Blanchard, owner and CEO
